Gunmen Kill over 20 people in Kaduna

Unknown gunmen opened fire on a group of people as they left prayers at a mosque  in a remote village called Dogo Dawa in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna early this morning and killed several people.

The gunmen also embarked on a house to house search in the area, shooting and stabbing people to death.

The Kaduna state police commissioner confirmed the incident and said troops have been deployed to the area.Villagers has counted at least 20 dead bodies after the attack.
