Late Cynthia Osokogu Finally Laid to Rest at Agbor

Late Cynthia that was allegedly killed by her facebook friends on July 22, 2012, was buried on Friday, 5th October in her home town at Owa Ekei, Agbor, Delta State. Her body arrived at her father’s compound at Agbor at 2.55 p.m. She was buried in the compound at 3.55 p.m. after a brief Christian ceremony conducted by Rev. Fr. Leonard Biachi, the Parish Priest of Saint Dominic’s Catholic Church, Boji Boji, Owa. We all know that the first attempt to bury the late Cynthia on Sept. 7 was aborted when the police were said to have refused to release her body on grounds that they had not concluded autopsy on it. Guests at the Sept. 7 canceled burial included Gov. Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Dr Festus Okubor, Chief of Staff, Government House, Asaba and top military personnel and traditional chiefs in the area.
